NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 15, 2023) – Today Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Inc. (Bridgestone), officially opened the doors of its newest Firestone Complete Auto Care tire and automotive service center in Norfolk, Va., with a celebratory event that welcomed special guests from across the community.
The new store, located at 1251 Wonsan St. near Camp Elmore, is the fourth in the Norfolk area and will also serve military members and their families. The location features a newly designed in-store experience to better serve customers, including digital displays providing real time service updates and the latest automotive service technologies and equipment for quicker repairs.
The grand opening event included remarks from company leaders, an official ribbon cutting and a donation presentation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia as part of the Bridgestone Driving Great Futures initiative, which has raised more than $20 million to help kids and teens gain access to Boys & Girls Clubs resources across the U.S. since 2015. The donation will help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia provide a safe, productive environment for area kids and teens during critical out-of-school hours.
