Bridgestone Americas made Nashville, Tennessee, its home in 1992 when it moved from Akron, Ohio, following Bridgestone Corporation's merger with Firestone Tire & Rubber Company. In 2017, we reaffirmed our commitment to Music City by opening our new location, Bridgestone Tower. Our new building allows us to bring together - for the first time - the company's key business units to the same city, enabling deeper team collaboration, better communication and more efficient ways of working.
Bridgestone Tower is located in the heart of downtown Nashville at the intersection of 4th Avenue South and Demonbreun Street. It’s home to more than 1,700 teammates and contractors. The building itself enhances Nashville’s skyline and represents best practices in a workplace environment. Here’s a snapshot:
